Where to Stay on Your Next Senior Vacation

It's trip planning time at my place. We have no idea when we'll be able to travel - such is military life - but we know we'd like to go to Canada. Since Canada's a pretty big place, we'll be spending lots of time researching and planning our trip.

We usually split up research topics; this time around, I'm looking at our lodging options. I really love renting vacation cottages, but with gasoline edging closer to $4 per gallon already, we need to carefully plan our travel budget. We could very well end up booking a family room at a youth hostel or two.
