Eos Airlines announced yesterday that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and will cease operations today. The airline will operate two flights today, but all future reservations will not be honored.

In yesterday's press release, Eos' CEO, Jack Williams, said that the airline filed for bankruptcy because it was unable to raise enough capital through financing to continue operating.

Passengers holding Eos Airlines tickets can contact their credit card companies for refund information. Passengers who did not pay by credit card will need to file a claim with the Bankruptcy Court.
