Tropical Storm Hanna, Hurricane Ike Threaten U.S. East Coast

Thursday September 4, 2008

It looks as though most of the southeastern U.S. will get a visit from Hanna, Ike or both. As was the case with Hurricane Gustav, it's time to contact your airline, tour operator or cruise line and find out what will happen should Hanna or Ike strike your vacation destination. As of yesterday, several airlines were already posting information online for their ticketed passengers who might want to change their reservations.

In related news, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has reopened, with limited food and beverage service.
