Train Travel Discounts for Seniors

I'm sure you've heard many travel experts say that senior travel discounts are almost a thing of the past. That's certainly true for most airlines, with the notable exception of Southwest.

I decided to check out senior train travel discounts - I knew Amtrak offers a discount for senior travelers - and was pleasantly surprised to find out that several European rail systems and VIA Rail Canada also offer senior discounts.

If you're planning a trip to Europe, Canada or somewhere in the U.S., don't rule out a rail journey until you take a look at senior train travel discounts in Europe and North America. Traveling by train might turn out to be your most affordable option.
