Protests Disrupt Bangkok Air Travel

Wednesday November 26, 2008

Vern Lovic, About.com's Guide to Thailand Travel, reports that protesters have jammed Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, causing massive flight cancellations. The airport has established telephone hotlines for passengers stranded by the emergency.

Bangkok Airways has canceled all November 26 flights and plans to cancel 76 flights scheduled for November 27. For more information, call the airline or visit Bangkok Airways' website.

Updated to add: Bangkok's second airport, Don Muang, has also been closed, according to Vern Lovic's latest report.

Is there anyone out there who is traveling with Overseas Adventure Travel – this month December to Thailand. I am not able to get in touch with OATS. Just looking to find out if this trip is on and what their position is.
