I first encountered Indian food as an exchange student in Ireland. My host family had lived in Mumbai and my exchange "mom" could create curries that cleared your sinuses. I fell in love with Indian food immediately.
Since that time, many moons ago (okay, decades), I've also discovered that Indian food is a reliable bargain wherever you travel. You can find an Indian restaurant in any large city, and you'll be able to please the vegetarians in your group as well as the meat-lovers.
Sharell Cook, About.com's Guide to India Travel, has put together a blog carnival for people just like me, those who love to "go out for an Indian," as my Irish friends put it. Sharell and our About.com Travel Guides know where the best Indian restaurants can be found in many cities around the world. If, like me, you appreciate a good chicken tikka or meats baked in a tandoor, the Top Indian Restaurants blog carnival will steer you in the right direction.
