Your flight is late. You've finished eating and want to pay your restaurant bill. Your fellow travelers want to spend most of their time shopping, while you prefer to visit art museums.
Somehow, travel annoyances like these become even more frustrating when you are visiting another country. Problems seem difficult to solve, especially if a language barrier exists.
Coping with international travel annoyances is easier if you recognize that problems might occur and find coping strategies before your trip begins. It doesn't hurt to pack a smile and a healthy dose of humor, too - you'll probably end up with some fascinating stories to tell once you've returned home.
