
Tokyo's Asahi Beer Hall, built in 1989, attracts a fair amount of attention, and it's easy to see why. Architect Philippe Starck designed the building to look like a glass of bear with a foamy head on top.

Well I can see why it would attract attention but wouldn’t have guessed a glass of beer with a head of foam, I just don’t see it, but perhaps a yellow banana slug such as can be found in the redwoods, or a bit of foam insulation leaked from a crack.
It looks like a black box with a turnip laying on its side on top. Cool building!
