Travel Photo of the Week: Old Meets New in Oslo Harbor

By November 14, 2012

Follow me on:

Cruise ships have to travel all the way up the Oslofjord to reach Oslo Harbor. If you arrive by air, you can take a wooden ship cruise through the Oslofjord. Modern ferries ply the waters, taking passengers from Denmark and Sweden to Oslo and back again.

A wooden ship cruise sounds like a very interesting way to take in a place. Love this idea!

I think I would enjoy this. I’ve never taken a cruise… well, other than 2 to 4 hour excursions. Surprising, since I love being near the water.
