This photo was taken from Akershus Slott, a fortress overlooking Oslo Harbor. Akershus Slott's original buildings date from the early 14th century. More fortifications were added over the centuries, creating a large military complex, part of which is still used by Norway's Ministry of Defense. At Akershus Slott, you'll also find Norway's Resistance Museum and Armed Forces Museum.
