You can find bicycle parking lots like this one all over Amsterdam, and, as you can see, they are well-used. As you walk or drive through this vibrant city, be sure to look carefully for oncoming bicycle traffic and listen for the cheerful jingle of bike bells so you can stay out of the cyclists' way.

Pardon my outdated lingo but that is rad. It’s great that city dwellers are so active that they are willing to bike everywhere. Bonus, it’s great for the environment, too.
Just think of how much pollution and congestion is saved by the use of bicycles when they are part of the culture as they are in many European cities. (My only problem would be finding my own bicycle. I have trouble finding my car in a parking lot!)
I agree. Very cool that bicycles are well-used in a big city.
