Yesterday I was at the library, looking for interesting books to read. I saw several travel guidebooks on display in the New Books section, and I immediately began to think about all the travel resources available to me through my county's library system.
Your library, too, is stocked with useful vacation planning tools, ranging from guidebooks to foreign language DVDs. Your librarian can help you find all kinds of information about places you'd like to visit. Many library systems offer computer training, and some even have eReader lending programs. (No more heavy books in your suitcase!)
If you're planning a road trip, tour or cruise, your library has plenty of helpful travel resources that can help save you time and money. Best of all, they're free.
