2012 will be known for many things, both good and bad. In addition to the 2012 Olympics, election and fiscal cliff, this year should definitely be remembered as the Year of Airport Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.

Airports around the US have installed electric vehicle charging stations for passengers to use, mainly in parking garages. The concept is a good one; travelers who own electric cars can charge them during their trip and come back to a fully-charged vehicle.
