Where I live, BoltBus and MegaBus passenger buses are a common sight. These discount bus lines ferry passengers between East coast cities and charge bargain basement fares. Because they are inexpensive, discount bus lines are extremely popular wherever they operate.

Discount bus travel works well for some people, but isn't a great fit for others. For some, the low cost makes the inconveniences worthwhile, while for others, no discount is large enough to offset the annoyances of bus travel.
