Oslo, Norway's capital, boasts a population of about 600,000. Oslo Harbor, shown, lies at the end of the Oslofjord. In summer, you can swim, go boating or take a tall ship tour of the harbor. Norwegians also enjoy fishing, hiking and bicycling, all of which are easy to do in or near Oslo. During the snowy winter months, you can cross-country ski, sled or go ice skating.
