Many travelers struggle with the “destination question.” Some senior travelers prefer to work with a travel agent as they go through the decision-making process. This can be especially helpful if you’re trying a travel option for the first time, such as taking a cruise or going on safari. Some travel agencies specialize in certain types of travel, such as accessible travel. Travel specialists can save you hours of research time because they work with car rental firms, hotels and tour operators on a regular basis and know about the services these companies provide.

Perhaps you’re thinking of visiting another continent. If so, you’ll need to think about certain travel details carefully. The size of your travel budget, your ability to cope with unfamiliar situations, and health concerns will all come into play as you choose an overseas destination.
