I’ve traveled to Europe many times and have driven on highways, back roads and goat paths, but I’d never thought about renting an RV in Europe until I read Take Your RV to Europe. I was immediately intrigued. Adelle and Ron Milavsky based their book on their own carefully-documented experiences. The couple decided to ship their American RV to Europe and spend several months touring. They enjoyed the experience so much that they found a place to store their RV and did it again – and again.
The Milavskys encountered both major and minor difficulties while shipping and using their RV, but they found creative ways to solve these problems. The Milavskys took photographs of their RV as they adapted it for use in Europe and included the pictures in their informative book. They also kept detailed records of their customs charges, shipping costs and campground experiences.
