Quick Facts:
  • Natural Habitat Adventures takes travelers to see wild animals in their own habitats. You can see polar bears in Canada, photograph penguins in Antarctica or go on safari.

  • NHA’s trips aren’t for everyone. If you have physical conditions that limit your mobility or certain types of medical conditions, you should consult with NHA before booking a trip, as you may not be able to participate.

  • Natural Habitat Adventures’ accommodations vary by destination. In remote areas, luxury hotels are not usually available.

  • NHA offers travel insurance and requires travelers on certain tours to purchase emergency evacuation insurance. You will need to sign a waiver / release form as part of your trip booking process.

  • The cost of your trip is subject to change if the itinerary is modified so that participants can see more wildlife or if trip conditions change.

  • Tour groups are extremely small, ranging from 8 to about 15 people. “Expedition Voyages” are small ship cruises and accommodate about 38 guests.

  • Not all itineraries are offered every year.

  • Because NHA’s tour groups are small, it’s best to start your travel planning at least a year in advance.

  • Airfare to your departure and return cities is not included in the price of your tour.
