What Are Open Days?
Open Days, created by The Garden Conservancy in 1995, offers the opportunity to tour privately-owned gardens in 23 states. On a region's Open Days, you can tour a participating garden for just $5. Over 300 garden owners participate each year, generously opening their properties to the public for a day or two each year.
The Garden Conservancy uses proceeds from Open Days ticket sales to fund its national garden preservation efforts and to support nonprofit organizations chosen by Open Days hosts.
How Can I Tour an Open Days Garden?
To tour an Open Days garden, check the Open Days schedule online and choose the garden you would like to visit. You can buy discounted tickets in advance or purchase them at the door (cash or check only). No reservations are necessary, and you may tour as many gardens as you wish.
