USS CONSTITUTION was commissioned in 1797 and has served the U.S. Navy proudly ever since. The ship is open for free tours nearly every day of the year. The excellent USS Constitution Museum, also at Charlestown Navy Yard, showcases Old Ironsides' history with exhibits and hands-on activities.
