- 1993 Lets go Europe. This book was informative, had a sense humor and put me in many clean places. I am planning to go back so I am curious to hear from others.

Rick and Rough Guides
- I first used the Rick Steves guidebooks back in 1986 and continue to use them to plan European trips. He's upgraded the maps and added themed walking tours to many of his books. For trips outside of Europe, I love the Rough Guide series. The history and literature notes at the end of each book give me an excellent overview of each country's heritage. Rough Guides cover towns and attractions that many other guidebook series ignore - another bonus.
